That is tough Brian—I would ask them what it is they are worried about? It seems they have ample cash reserves, and since they've currently got high-paying jobs in tech I assume they've got some very marketable skills. So what's the fear all about? Worst-case is they end up right back where they are, doing exactly what they're doing right now. Best case is they unlock a new lifestyle they couldn't have imagined before.
